"I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN UNTIL THE END OF TIME" If only God could hear me. How often those words have been cried out from a soul bereft of hope. When all seems to have failed and you have come to the end of your tether, many a heart has broken on the assumption that the sufferer is completely and utterly alone. Nothing could be further from the truth. No matter who or what you are and regardless of your circumstances, God hears every plea or prayer offered by His people. No cry for help has ever been ignored by your Heavily father who is all knowing all seeing and all loving. No prayer however brief is made in vain to God whose love is all embracing and is given freely to all. This is His gift to you and is never dependent upon your worthiness to receive it. Because Jesus promised to be with you always, you need to beware of this and you should cultivate the presence of Our Blessed Lord with you as you about your daily living. Focus your attention on Him and engage in mental conversations with Him. Let the living Christ become an integral part of your daily life at home at work and at leisure. Confide in Him and share with Him your joys and sadness your success and your failures. In doing this you will experience the Divine Presence with you at all times thus enabling you to cope with all that life has to offer. |
